Concept
This is an album identity system and package redesign developed from Geese’s fourth studio album, Getting Killed, released in 2025. Getting Killed feels cathartic and high-energy. Some of the key themes of the album include: apocalyptic anxiety, loss of individual agency, war, corruption, religion, transformation, and love. The band’s sound takes elements from post-punk, prog-rock, country-rock, and blues. This album also has a mix of noise-rock along with gentler, melodic songs. I created a custom display font for the band logo and the album title. This redesign uses a gatefold layout instead than the orginal single-fold in order to showcase the custom type treatment.
